Historic Edgewater Buildings

The Edgewater neighborhood is roughly bound by 17th Street to the south, 37th Street to the north, the Florida East Coast Railway and East First Avenue to the west and Biscayne Bay to the east. Edgewater is primarily a residential neighborhood, with many historic early 20th century homes. There are several relatively new high-rise developments in the neighborhood as well as many low and mid-rise multifamily apartments.

I really dig this neighborhood and think there is significant upside in this area. It is close to the Central Business District and within walking distance to  the Biscayne Boulevard commercial district.  Here are some of my favorite buildings from the neighborhood.

Need serious TLC, but has a ton of potential

Needs love.

Great house (sans fence)

What a gem!

So much potential.

Gotta love it.

Retail on the ground floor and apartments upstairs. This one is on the market for sale. Lot's of potential.
