His epitaph is beautifully articulated in the historic, cosmopolitan urban brands he reinvented and reinvigorated: Soho … South Beach … Wynwood … Center City. No one on the planet better understood the logical beauty of rock bottom and the joy of renewal. History and academia owe Tony Goldman a place — no, a space — worthy of an American pioneer. “
